Our Brands

Our wide range of over 140 garden and plant-related products include well-known brands such as: Slug Gone, 6X, Vitax Q4, Stay Off, Nippon and SBK Weedkiller.

• Slug Gone: A natural deterrent to repel slugs from plants. 100% natural, the pellets do not contain any harmful chemicals or pesticides and are approved organic by the Soil Association.
• 6X: Completely natural, 6X is a powerful plant feed and soil conditioner which has long been loved by both experienced allotment holders and amateur gardeners to help produce bumper cops and help gardens bloom. Made using natural ingredients from UK farms, it is also available as a pelleted chicken manure.
• Vitax Q4: The unique formula of Vitax Q4 all-purpose feed has been trusted by generations of horticulturists, professional and amateur gardeners to enrich the soil with vital nutrients and trace elements for outstanding results. The range includes traditional Q4, Q4 Soluble, Q4 Rootmore and Liquid Q4 All Purpose Plant Food. A must have for any gardener.
• Stay Off: A range of pet and animal repellents to deter pets and animals from gardens and crops. Products include Stay Off Gel, Stay Off Granules, Stay Off Rabbit Repellent and Stay Off Mole Repellent, all of which help keep gardens looking their best.
• SBK: The only non-glyphosate weedkiller which will tackle tough, woody weeds and is the‘go to’ product for gardeners looking to clear areas of weeds such as brambles, nettles and thistles. SBK also has SBK Tree Stump Killer in its range.
• Nippon: Recognised as a leading household brand for over 50 years, Nippon products have been relied upon to keep homes free from infestations of crawling and flying pests, such as ants, wasps and rodents.

Organic Gardening

As a family business we recognise the importance of preserving the environment and the need to work with nature for a sustainable future. That is why we are continually innovating and expanding existing brands to offer more organic and natural products for future generations of gardeners.

Adding to the range year-on-year, it includes natural pest deterrents and soil conditioners right through to fertilisers which are not just organic, but suitable for vegan gardening too.

Our focus is on the practice of good gardening and ensuring, where possible, we can re-use the natural by-product of one industry for use in the garden. Both Slug Gone and 6X are prime examples of this.

Slug Gone is made entirely for shoddy, an unused by-product of the wool scouring industry that is recycled into wool pellets. Our popular soil conditioner and plant feed – 6X – also utilises natural by-product from UK poultry farms.
