Vitax compost in the Greenhouse at DMRC Stanford Hall

New delivery for horticultural therapy programme

Vitax is proud to continue its support for the fantastic HighGround Horticultural Therapy Programme at The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) at Stanford Hall in Loughborough, by providing a year's worth of growing media.

Working in partnership with HighGround, Vitax has donated a year's supply of Q4 Multi-Purpose Compost to help injured serving personnel on their road to recovery.

Focusing on the therapeutic benefits of gardening, such as providing a sense of purpose, hope and achievement, the Horticultural Therapy programme is an essential part of an individual's rehabilitation journey.

Popular amongst many patients, the programme enables each individual to work in the green environment and with the current growing season well underway, the new delivery will enable HighGround and its team to continue to plant and sow new seedlings and flowers over the coming months.
