Rich in nitrogen, Dried Blood is completely organic and promotes above-the-ground growth and healthy foliage.
Fast acting, Dried Blood makes an excellent top dressing for foliage plants in the greenhouse or conservatory.
Dried Blood:
Dried Blood should be applied at monthly intervals during the growing season, lightly forked in and watered.
By adding Dried Blood to the soil, it will increase nitrogen levels to improve the growth of strong, healthy plants.
Dried Blood can also help raise the acid level of soil. Many gardeners prefer to add Dried Blood to the soil to raise nitrogen levels which have been lost through multiple plantings.
Always read the instructions for correct application rates as too much Dried Blood can raise nitrogen levels too much, which can have an adverse effect on plants.
During application, ensure Dried Blood does not remain on leaves or stems.

Note: A gloved hand will hold about 15-17g (½ oz).
Apply as a top dressing at monthly intervals during the summer months to encourage leaf growth at a rate of 35 grammes per square metre (1 oz per square yard). Lightly fork in and water well after application.

Store fertiliser in a cool dry place away from children, pets and foodstuffs.
Always wear gloves when gardening. Wash hands after use. Product may irritate cut or broken skin.
Do not exceed the recommended application rates.
Avoid fertiliser lodging on leaves and stems.
Some animals (particularly dogs) may be attracted to the organic ingredients and may attempt to eat the product. To reduce attraction and palatability mix well into the soil after application.
