 Cranberry Sauce |

Serves 4-6
Ingredients
340g/12oz Fresh Cranberries
110g/4oz Light Brown Sugar, or to taste
60ml/2fl oz Port or Sherry, or to taste
Method Combine the ingredients in a large saucepan.
Cook over low heat, covered, until the cranberries have burst and the mixture thickens, about 20 to 25 minutes.
Let cool, then refrigerate until needed.
Serve cold or at room temperature. Tip: For a non-alcoholic zesty version, substitute the Port or Sherry with Fresh Orange Juice. |
