Serves: 4

Ingredients:
175g runner beans, stringed and sliced in thick chunks
2 x 15ml spoons mint jelly
4 rashers rindless streaky bacon, grilled until crisp
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:
Cook the beans for 5-6 minutes in a pan of lightly salted boiling water, drain and and set to one side.

Gently warm the mint jelly, stir in the bacon and beans and season to taste. Serve immediately.
