Entertaining at Easter tends to be more relaxed than at Christmas. Reflect a more informal family gathering in your floral decorations. Use smaller posies of fresh flowers on side tables all around the house to bring the bright explosion of colour that is Spring into the house.
There is a greater array of flowers available after the winter doldrums, so make the most of it with this delightful Easter bouquet. We have used flowers that lend themselves to a more informal style of arrangement and can be put in almost any container. We chose a contemporary vase with a wide neck to encourage the 'careless' feel of the arrangement.
Flowers Used: White Roses, Narcissi, Daffodils, Solidaster, Pittosporum |

How to create the arrangement
Step One Trim the foliage and strip the lower part of the stems of any leaves. Strip the white roses of thorns and trim their stems.
Step Two Use the pittosporum foliage as the centre of the arrangement to be worked around, then add the mimosa like fronds of the solidaster - a golden rod and aster cross - for a softer element.
Step Three Daffodils and narcissi work well when divided into threes and arranged around the foliage. This gives maximum impact with minimum fuss - which is the true beauty of spring flowers.
Step Four Arrange any larger roses with stronger stems towards the centre od the arrangement, using smaller heads around the outside, keeping stems short. This helps to fill out any gaps around the edge of the vase.
