It needn't be a burden... Make sure the greenhouse is easy to get into and move around. If possible site the greenhouse close to the house as you will be using it more in the colder weather. Internal paths should at least 2'6" (870 mm) wide if you use a wheelchair or walking frame. Greenhouse benching should be a comfortable height for you to use either standing or sitting. Make sure you can easily reach the back of the benches. Heating in the greenhouse will not only extend the growing season but make it more comfortable to work in. The use of inexpensive automatic vents helps with temperature variations. Many Garden Centres have specialist greenhouse and conservatory sites and are well worth a visit for sound advice.
