Why not come and see for yourself the Millenium Garden, created by the influential Dutch designer Piet Oudolf. This new one-acre garden, set among the wildfowl lakes, features dramatic swathes of perennial flowers and grasses, in harmony with the natural landscape. Flowering will reach its peak in high summer, although the architectural planting will retain its beauty well into autumn. The park's many exotic and endangered water birds also make an eyecatching sight. |
