Serves 4 Ingredients 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and grated 25g fresh breadcrumbs 25g pine kernels 1½ x 15ml spoons freshly chopped sage salt and freshly ground black pepper 4 lean, boneless pork chops Method Place the grated apple, breadcrumbs, pinenuts, sage and seasoning in a bowl and mix well. Grill the pork chops under a preheated moderate grill for 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Divide the apple mixture into 4 and press one portion onto the top of each chop. Grill for a further 2-3 minutes until the topping is golden. Serve immediately. |
