Early Spring
- Divide congested clumps of perennials to increase your stock of plants for free.
- Relocate any trees and shrubs that have been incorrectly sited.
- Prune butterfly-attracting shrubs such as buddleia to ensure prolific flowering
Mid-Spring
- Divide and replant over-crowded marginal plants.
- Sow hardy annuals where they are to flower
Late Spring
- Sow half-hardy annuals.
- Position aquatic plants in pots or directly into the soil.
- Put up a summer-roosting box for bats. This will need replacing in winter with a better insluated box.
